Last year got a commission to paint a big historical painting about Peter I for this project dedicated to his 350th anniversary. It was an odd experience as historical battle paintings aren't my specialty whatsoever. And the current war situation made the finishing of this piece quite struggling morally. I'd wish that wars could be only experienced through historical paintings, and not in real life.
I've spent around 7 months working on this project, so decided to show it here as well.
